Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

A jet transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the plane's windshield, per an official announcement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.

"The plane landed following established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, including Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative stated in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a brief trip to Brussels at the time.

This occurrence does not mark the first time that a US military aircraft ferrying a senior official has encountered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane carrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was required to head back to Washington after experiencing a mechanical problem.
